Pokerstars wanted…

…to teach millennials the art of poker by reaffirming that they already have the skills required to be good at the game.

Solution

We worked with creative agency Gravity Road to produce a campaign that would teach our audience the rules of poker. We worked with influencers Thomas Gray and Axel Blake to create a series of videos where they would test the publics knowledge of Poker terms and learn the art of poker through a series of tasks including chess, magic and fire walking. We then saw Thomas Gray take on the pros at a Pokerstar tournament in Barcelona. We also seeded a series of videos created by Gravity Road starring Usain Bolt and Kevin Hart competing a series of tasks that would test their poker skills.

Insights

The campaign is still ongoing and is now in its second phase, but the content has done phenomenally well with over 56 million views to date, reaching over 178 million people globally.
