To educate a mass audience in the origins of its special recipe chicken and where the finger lickin’ good flavour came from. By showing how Colonel Sanders stood for hard work and family values that are still instilled within franchises today, KFC wanted the audience to look further than chicken and to connect with The Colonel’s dedication to flavour.
We wanted to work on the finer details just like The Colonel, making a long-form documentary on the life and work of the brand’s figurehead. Planned in the UK and then filmed in the US, our team was able to execute a moving story of The Colonel’s journey to global success to reveal the real ‘secret’ ingredient to our audience; his passion that still drives KFC today.
