…to associate their brand with money saving, so during the difficult month of January, people would come to them to get the best prices on mobile phones.
We created a hilarious sketch comparing the difference between the cash-splashing month of December and the frugal month of January. The video was posted on the UNILAD main Facebook page during January with a link to Carphone Warehouse’s website.
Since its launch it’s received over 2 million views and has been positively received by our audience. The timing was perfect, with audience comments including “OMG! I was just googling how to sell your organs before watching this!” and “Loosely based on my life… except I didn’t buy any one a phone for Christmas “.
