“By going out myself it was the ultimate act of solidarity and internationalism”

Macer Gifford used to have a normal job working in London’s financial district. But seeing the rise of the Islamic state in the press and feeling that no one was fighting it, he decided to take it upon himself to fly to Syria and join the group of civilians trying to fight against ISIS.

What they said…

“Amazing thing to do .. great job seriously… I would probably never get the guts for it” – Jade Luka Dzneladze

“This isn’t brave it’s stupid, wanna help someone by fighting, join the army, don’t become a quote on quote ‘hero’. It’s not brave to say ‘it took only a week and I had a rifle in my hands’ its just called a death wish” – Tom MacGregor

“I salute you sir for a noble job. you are one in a million.” – Emy Omanguing

How we packaged it…
