Badger Ales wanted…
…to broaden the appeal of the brand and position themselves as a mainstream beer.
We worked with advertising agency, Joint, to identify that more and more men were struggling for space at home to enjoy a beer, and that more and more ‘man-caves’ were popping up in garden sheds all over the UK as a result.
We collaborated with Badger Ales to launch a competition allowing drinkers to win the ‘ultimate beer shed’. UNILAD created a series of videos featuring tours of the UK’s ultimate garden sheds.
We then shared the videos on our main Facebook page and Sport channels, asking people to tag their mates for a chance to win.
The series went truly viral with 11.5 million people watching the minute-long videos all the way to the end. It was the third most watched branded content video of all time.
